Dear Flexible System Designers,
I had the pleasure to interview Barbara Cadorna, a designer from NYC. Barbara wrote an article called “What Kirby Can Teach Us About Flexible Visual Systems” at the end of last year. The metaphor she used to explain my FVS model intrigued me so much, that I had to know how she came up with it. Finding out that THE Natasha Jen from Pentagram NYC introduced her to my book Flexible Visual Systems, made her story even better.
To me, this means WE are really onto something that works beyond Europe. Would love to hear how you talk about FVS. This is where it really becomes interesting. When theory becomes alive through you.
