FVS Bi-Weekly Nr. 136 — SOS Excercise

Dear Friends,

As we are easing into the new year, I have a beautifully simple exercise from my friend Donald Roos for you, author of the best-sellers Don’t Read This Book — Time Management for Creative People (30.000 copies, translated into seven languages), Don’t Buy This Book — Entrepreneurship for Creative People and If You Don’t — Economics for Creative People / Saving the World by Doing Nothing.

It is perfect for helping you set your goals in 2026 and follows the same idea that shapes his work: less, not more. Instead of writing longer lists, Donald suggests reviewing what hasn’t moved – and letting it go. From there, choose only three goals for 2026: the ones you genuinely want to carry forward. Not the impressive ones. The essential ones.

You can use this short worksheet:
Set Your Goals for 2026 (3 steps) https://schoolofsystems.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/TDC_SoS_Worksheet_Goals2026.pdf

It’s a quiet practice, but a powerful one and a way to end the year with intention, not pressure.

Consider this a small taste of Donald’s way of working. If you want to explore his full toolkit and the ideas behind his books, put yourself on the waitinglist for the course. You’ll find all details here: https://schoolofsystems.org/donald-roos/

Wish you a fantastic week,
Martin
